The LONG DOG Orchestra released its second album, do you do, on October 30, 2026, on the GO Danish Folk Music label. Hailing from the musical city of Roskilde, the quintet creates a sound that blends blues, folk, country, and Americana. The band’s main songwriters, Simon Andersen and Lennart “Old Dog” Larsen, wrote the original English-language songs featured on the album. The collection includes eight tracks, recorded live by Anders Poulsen at Two Lake Studio. One distinctive feature of LONG DOG Orchestra is its members’ wealth of experience: most of them are over seventy. Musicians Niels “Bigfoot Barolo” Christensen, Jan “Smoky” Andersen, and Steen “The Rock” Dahl have brought more than fifty years of professional performance experience to the project. The album is available on CD and digitally; Larsen provided the cover artwork and photographs.
