Ashes In My Whiskey is a studio album by the American blues duo consisting of guitarist Dave "Snaker" Ray and harmonica player Tony "Little Sun" Glover, released on September 18, 1990.
The release is notable for being the duo's first full-length collaborative studio recording following a long hiatus that began in 1965. The album was issued on the Rough Trade label in conjunction with Treehouse Records.
The album showcases a stunning, natural rapport between two scene veterans who, alongside John Koerner, were the founding members of the legendary trio Koerner, Ray & Glover—a group that exerted a tremendous influence on Bob Dylan. Dave Ray’s solid acoustic guitar work and powerful vocals intertwine perfectly with the expressive harmonica playing of Tony Glover.
