The Anatomy of Malevolence is a conceptual studio album by the Canadian experimental art-rock quartet Cantor Dust, released on October 2, 2026.

The record follows the band’s successful 2020 release, *Too Many Stars*. Spanning 44 minutes and comprising 10 tracks, the album is regarded by critics as one of the group’s most direct, emotionally resonant, and mature works in their more than 20-year history.

The music presents an eclectic blend of styles, with the band skillfully balancing vulnerable, cinematic melancholy against explosive sonic catharsis. The sonic palette is defined by the presence of live cello, fierce saxophone passages, analog synthesizers, piano, and powerful, narrative-driven vocals.
