The album’s music combines the raw energy of garage rock with catchy pop melodies reminiscent of 1960s girl groups and early new wave. Lisa Genio’s vibrant vocals are underscored by a dynamic rhythm section, an abundance of analog keyboards—including a Hammond organ, Mellotron, and Vox organ—and bold guitar riffs.
