An evasion that strengthens form, a cloth that helps you see an invisible figure, together inside the hollow tree.

Roscoe Fox returns to SINK with The Body, his debut album and most distilled work to date. Built from a deliberately restrained palette, the record constructs compositions from the smallest gestures, embracing atmosphere, absence and texture as much as melody.
Originally inspired by Jack Nitzsche’s soundtrack for Stand By Me, The Body gradually evolved into a work of its own. The record moves through childhood as something unstable rather than idyllic, tracing the points where innocence gives way to guilt, intimacy to distance, and familiarity becomes difficult to hold onto. The Body lingers around what remains unresolved or half understood.
Since first emerging on Odyxxey, Roscoe Fox’s work has continued to shift and refine, from A Series of Extensive Eye Operations through to the 2025 single Myth. Alongside co-founding Liverpool label SINK, he has performed with artists including Proc Fiskal, Rabit & Lolina.
Featuring contributions from Grey Streak, Irma Vepp and Hasfeldt, The Body marks Roscoe Fox’s most intimate work to date.
