"Heavy Psych" (2009) is the fifth studio album by the American trio Nebula, released on June 2, 2009, on the cult independent label Tee Pee Records. The album became a milestone in the band's history, fully living up to its name and marking the band's return to a raw, garage-inspired, and uncompromising sound after the experiments of previous years.
Nebula was formed in 1997 by guitarist Eddie Glass and drummer Ruben Romano after their departure from the legendary stoner band Fu Manchu. By 2009, only Glass remained from the original lineup, and "Heavy Psych" became the first recording to feature the new rhythm section of Tom Davis (bass) and Rob Oswald (drums, ex-Karma to Burn).
