The 1976 recording by an obscure group was originally released by Cholly Williams as a limited-edition double LP on his BlackLite Records label in Las Vegas. For decades, the album held legendary status among collectors, who paid hundreds of dollars for original copies. In 2016, Now-Again Records reissued the album as part of its Reserve series, with high-quality packaging and a bonus booklet. The Instrumentals edition offers a stripped-down version of these tracks, specifically for DJs and producers looking for functional funk arrangements to sample and use in break-heavy sets.
