The project originated during the Sounds of the Underground American tour in 2005, when the musicians decided to create material under the motto "Get funky or get out." The entire album was spontaneously recorded in just one week in a rented house in Falun, Sweden.
This fusion of talents resulted in a lively, driving, and technically accomplished album. It sounds like a relaxed, yet flawlessly executed jam session between old friends. In addition to original songs, the musicians included two cover versions: the funk-rock opener "Running" by Curtis Mayfield and the monumental jazz-funk closing track "Mr. Clean."
