Isaac Roux - Lost & Found (2026) [Hi-Res]

Two years after his debut album ‘Troubled Waters’, Belgian artist Isaac Roux, the project of frontman Louis De Roo, is entering a new chapter. With ‘Lost & Found’, Roux moves towards a more energetic and versatile sound, combining indie pop and indie folk with alternative rock influences.

The album looks back nostalgically at youth, freedom, first love and the feeling of being young. According to De Roo, the songs are more expansive than those on his debut, with a stronger focus on guitars, drums, arrangements and forward-moving rhythms.

The album began taking shape with Young Hearts, released earlier this year as its first single. De Roo wrote the song following Donald Trump’s re-election and his concerns about rights being taken away from minority groups, including LGBTQIA+ people.

Roux and his band recorded ‘Lost & Found’ in a small village near Mont Ventoux in France. They transformed a holiday home into a DIY recording studio called Studio La Pichounette. The sessions took place over three weeks in October, with the band recording together in a relaxed setting.

For the album, Roux again worked with producer Bert Vliegen. The mix was handled by Peter Katis, known for his work with artists including The National, Interpol, Kurt Vile and Death Cab for Cutie.

Musically, Roux drew inspiration from artists including The Cure, Joy Division, The Smiths, Beach Fossils, Tame Impala, Royel Otis and Australian alternative surf-rock band Old Mervs.

The new single Good Times explores memories of youth, love and fleeting freedom. The track combines dreamy indie pop with an introspective approach and reflects the nostalgic atmosphere that runs through the forthcoming album.
