Positively Dumptruck (1985/1986) is the second studio album by the American rock band Dumptruck, recorded in August 1985 and released on vinyl in March 1986 by the independent label Big Time Records. The album cemented the Boston band's status as one of the most vibrant and underrated representatives of the American guitar underground of the mid-1980s.
After releasing their rough debut album, D Is for Dumptruck, the founding duo—vocalists Seth Tiven and Kirk Swan—expanded their lineup to a full-fledged quartet, adding bassist Steve Michener and drummer Sean Devlin.
