Luna Soul is an international project founded by German singer Lisa Michèle Lietz and Spanish guitarist Jordi Arnau Rubio, playing disco pop in the spirit of the 70s and 80s, with shimmering grooves, warm analog synths and soulful vocals. Their debut album “First Move” (2025) established them as an in-demand live act, with more than 50 concerts a year across Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands and Denmark. Their songs have been played on Deutschlandradio Kultur, Radio Eins, NDR and Bayern 2, opening the door to a growing European audience.
Their second album, “Second Nature”, is a step forward in both sound and emotional depth. Written between tours and shaped by constant travel, it speaks of change, longing, resilience and the search for genuine connection. Its ten songs are arranged like scenes from a midnight movie: synthesizers, guitars and soulful melodies tell of long journeys, quiet conversations, fading memories and hope in new beginnings. The first two singles mark the poles of the record: “Only Human” is a warm, uplifting song about accepting one’s own vulnerability; “Down The Line” is a walk through a nocturnal city, where cinematic intimacy meets the pulse of the dancefloor.
Live, Luna Soul perform as a band of four to six musicians, moving freely between disco, sophisticated indie pop, yacht rock and atmospheric slow-burners, keeping both precision and emotional immediacy. “Second Nature” is their most mature work: an album less about nostalgia than about holding on to fleeting moments before they disappear.
