"Decency" is the second full-length studio album by the British alternative rock band Diesel Park West, released in March 1991 on the major label Food Records/EMI.
The album was recorded as the official follow-up to their successful debut, "Shakespeare Alabama" (1989). The band retained their collaboration with producer Chris Kimsey (known for his work with The Rolling Stones and Marillion), which helped create a dense, professional, and expansive sound. The lyrics, written by frontman John Butler, became more mature, socially conscious, and philosophical, exploring themes of morality, humanity ("decency"), and spiritual quests in the changing world of the early 1990s.
