"An Outcast of the Islands" is the debut solo studio album by British rock multi-instrumentalist, singer, and bassist Colin Bass, best known as a longtime member of the prog rock band Camel. Originally released in 1998–1999, in 2003, the Polish label Oskar Productions, in collaboration with Kartini Records, released a landmark remastered edition, featuring additional bonus tracks and live recordings.

The album's title ("An Outcast of the Islands") refers to Joseph Conrad's novel of the same name, and the record itself is inspired by Bass's travels through Southeast Asia and his departure from England. The majority of the material was recorded in Poznań, Poland, with local musicians, while guitar parts were recorded in California. Thanks to the contributions of his Camel bandmates, music critics have dubbed the album "Camel's lost record."
