brakence - marroW (2026) [Hi-Res]

Brakence returns after a four-year silence with marroW, his first full-length since 2022’s hypochondriac and a definitive statement from one of hyperpop’s most restlessly inventive minds. Across 18 tracks, the Columbus artist collapses boundaries between digicore, emo rap, post-Radiohead alt-rock, and electronic music, with singles like “crystallized” and “death rolL” showcasing production that is crisp, arrangements that are vivid, and songwriting that brims with personality. Arriving via Columbia, marroW is the sound of an artist who stepped back, let the silence build, and returned with something worth the wait.
