Tiwayo - Outsider (Deluxe Edition) (2026) [Hi-Res]

Following international acclaim for his Adrian Quesada-produced album, Tiwayo announces Outsider (Deluxe Edition), out on October 23 with two bonus tracks.

Paris-born soul artist Tiwayo announces the digital deluxe edition of Outsider, the critically acclaimed album produced in Austin, Texas by Adrian Quesada (Black Pumas), due for release on October 23 via Record Kicks. The deluxe edition includes two previously unreleased bonus tracks: "Austin Austin Austin" and “Lovin Man”.

Released on April 10, Outsider has established itself as one of this year's standout soul releases, earning widespread international acclaim from KEXP, NPR, KCRW, Mojo Magazine, Okayplayer, Rolling Stone France, El País, Far Out Mag and many more. The album also received extensive support from BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, KEXP, KCRW, Jazz FM, TSF Jazz, WDR, Radio Eins, Radio 3 Spain, and dozens of leading radio stations across Europe and North America.

Produced by Adrian Quesada in Austin, Outsider marked a defining chapter in Tiwayo's career. After stepping away from the spotlight following the acclaimed Desert Dream and The Gypsy Soul of Tiwayo (Blue Note Records), he found renewed inspiration when Quesada discovered his demos and invited him to Texas.

The result was a deeply personal album exploring displacement, identity and artistic rebirth through a timeless blend of Southern soul, blues and vintage R&B. Critics hailed it as "a transportive gem" (KEXP), "a powerful rebirth for one of modern soul's most distinctive voices" (KCRW), "the modern incarnation of Memphis soul" (Far Out Magazine).
