FRAUD ALERT / FAKE LOSSLESS: 100% MP3 Transcode Disguised as FLACArtist/Album: The Fortunate Few – Saints And Sinners (2026) [Label: Antone Music] Quality Status: Fake FLAC / 100% Lossy Transcode (Overall score: 5.00% CDDA) Forensic Audit (Audiochecker v2.0): Total failure. All 10 tracks are flagged as MPEG (95%)! Zero true CDDA tracks. Technical Reality: The uploader downloaded lossy MP3/streaming audio and up-converted it into .flac containers. Packaging compressed MPEG files inside a FLAC container does not restore acoustic information or high-frequency spectrum. Romek Parol (Chicken Shack), Paul Cox, and these seasoned British blues veterans deserve an authentic lossless rip, not an upscaled MP3 fake. Action Required:Purge the Release: Remove these fake FLAC download mirrors immediately. Warn/Ban the Uploader: Stop uploaders who poison the lossless section with converted MP3s.Keep the FLAC database clean and true to genuine lossless standards!

This is what it is. If you have any complain, address it to the band or to the Label. I don't transcode nothing. Buy the album yourself and prove that I'm wrong.

Nobody is blaming you personally for pressing the transcode button. But this section is called Lossless / FLAC, and these files fail the very definition of it.

Here are the facts:

Audiochecker v2.0 log: Overall score is 5.00% CDDA. All 10 tracks are flagged as MPEG (95%).

Spectral analysis shows a hard brickwall cutoff at lossy compression thresholds across every single song. Real CDDA or genuine master FLAC files do not have an MP3 low-pass filter baked into every channel.

Whether this audio was compromised by a sloppy digital distributor or sourced from a lossy web stream, the result is the same: it is lossy audio sitting inside a .flac container.

The burden of verification belongs to the uploader before labeling files as FLAC. If you didn't rip it from a physical CD yourself, running a 30-second Audiochecker scan is basic respect to this community. Don't tell members to "buy it and prove you wrong" when the audio spectrum has already proven it for you.
