Forever Twelve - Spark of Light (2004)

"Spark of Light" is the second studio album by the American progressive rock band Forever Twelve, released on April 2, 2004. The record cemented the band's status as a prominent representative of modern symphonic prog, evoking the classical influences of the 1970s.

"Spark of Light" is a technical, mature, and complex work, created for connoisseurs of old-school, intellectual rock. The band emphasizes rich, analog keyboards, virtuoso solos, and clear vocals. The album's lyrics, typical of the genre, explore philosophical themes of life's transitions, the search for light, the nature of time, and human consciousness.
The compositions on the album are quite lengthy and eclectic, combining several different musical themes within a single track, each seguing into another. The opening epic "Rama" and the multilayered composition "Brown Cloud" have received the greatest acclaim among fans. The album was originally released by the musicians themselves (Self-released CD).
