Creeper Lagoon - I Become Small And Go (1998)

"I Become Small and Go" is the debut studio album by American indie rock band Creeper Lagoon from San Francisco, released on May 19, 1998, on the independent label Nickelbag Records. The album brought the band widespread underground recognition, and SPIN magazine named them "Best New Artist of 1998" at the end of the year.

"I Become Small and Go" exemplifies the creative freedom of the late '90s. Founding members Sharkey Laguana and Ian Sefcik initially recorded the material in a minimalist home environment, using toy instruments and portable recorders. However, the key feature of the release was the involvement of producer John King (half of the iconic duo The Dust Brothers, who worked on Beck's "Odelay" and the Fight Club soundtrack).
