Gallowstreet - FUTUREBRASS (2026) [Hi-Res]

Musically, Gallowstreet relies on striking horn melodies that float above driving kick drums reminiscent of disco and house, complemented by retro-futuristic synth sounds and the strategic use of effects. The result is a cohesive, sound-driven narrative: arranged brass sections meet studio textures, creating a sequence of moods ranging from dark cyberpunk to an optimistic, eco-conscious aesthetic. The band heralded this project with singles like "Can You Imagine?" and "Le Confluence," and the album seamlessly blends danceable moments with cinematic passages.

The band presents the material as a tight, live-ready ensemble; the arrangements allow room for both brass-driven chaos and precise synth work. On the "Futurebrass" album, Gallowstreet distills its evolution into a modern brass band that fuses club-oriented rhythms with orchestral brass arrangements, dissolving conventional boundaries between acoustic and electronic elements.

"With "Futurebrass", Gallowstreet cements its status as one of Europe’s most progressive brass bands. The album successfully blends the energy of live brass music with the emotional impact and danceability of French Touch and electronic music. The result is a fresh, ambitious, and—above all—incredibly fun record that showcases the versatility of a modern-day brass band. It is traditional enough to remain recognizable, yet innovative enough to push boundaries." (earplugged.nl)
