The debut full-length album Dins by Psychic Ills merges heavy psychedelic rock, studio experimentation, and hypnotic drone. Engineered by Charles Burst (known for his work with Black Dice, Gang Gang Dance, and The Double), the record expands well beyond the band's energetic live setup. Drawing inspiration from influential acts like Sonic Youth and The Velvet Underground, the album pairs expansive, reverb-drenched rock anthems ("I Knew My Name", "Another Day Another Night") with meditative tracks like "Electric Life" that induce a blissful trance through endless, whirring guitar tones.
