Funkadelic - Maggot Brain (2026 Remaster) LP

Funkadelic’s classic 1971 album *Maggot Brain*—considered one of the best, if not *the* best, album in the P-Funk discography—is getting a new reissue from Org Music and Westbound Records. The album has been newly remastered directly from the analog master tapes.

Various formats are available, including a double-LP 45 RPM edition, single-LP editions on black and "Armageddon Red" vinyl, standard CD and Super Audio CD, as well as cassette. You can pre-order all these formats at the BV Shop.

*Maggot Brain* blended styles in a way no one had done before. "That album just blew my mind," André 3000 told *The Guardian* in 2006. "It made me want to learn to play guitar, and its huge range of styles—funk, bluegrass, country, opera—helped shape our sound. Everyone was playing funk back then, but no one ever sounded like Funkadelic."
