The "Polydor Disco Anthology" (2011) is a highly acclaimed multi-volume compilation series (spanning 8 volumes) that brings together classic disco, funk, and soul tracks released by the legendary Polydor Records and its subsidiary labels during the peak era of the 1970s and 1980s.
The anthology is particularly prized by DJs, collectors, and audiophiles because it avoids standard radio edits. Instead, it features rare 12" extended mixes, full-length album versions, and iconic club remixes by legendary pioneers like Tom Moulton and Jim Burgess.
Tracks:
01. Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive '93 (Phil Kelsey Classic 12'' Mix) (7:51)
02. Alton McClain & Destiny - It Must Be Love (Disco Lust Re-Edit) (7:14)
03. Peaches & Herb - Love It Up Tonight (Midnight Delight Mix) (8:20)
04. Gloria Gaynor - Goin' Out Of My Head (Crazy Disco Re-Edit) (8:39)
05. Fatback Band - Spanish Hustle (Jski Edit) (6:23)
06. Chakachas - Jungle Fever (Dirk Diggler's Boogie Nights Remix) (5:42)
