Tee Grizzley - They Forgot (2026) Hi-Res

Few rappers—out of Michigan or anywhere else—appear capable of the consistency that
Tee Grizzley has demonstrated and delivered over the course of the last decade.
Though chart success remains one metric to judge an artist’s discography, what kept the
Detroit native in the proverbial conversation up until now goes beyond mere numbers,
feeding his fanbase again and again with high-quality albums like his 2025 double shot
Forever My Moment and Street Psalms. If the title of his 2026 project They Forgot
signifies anything, it’s that he remains perpetually ready to cut through the noise to
remind everyone why he’s still here.
“99 Ovrall” and “Back Ina Yams” embody his outlook as well as his aesthetic, with
regionally reliable beats banging behind his increasingly astute observations and
anecdotes. While technically in his early thirties, he’s lived the sort of life that comes
with rap fame and street infamy, vigorously documenting the ups-and-downs on cuts
like “Locked Up In Mexico” and “No Effort 2.”
He rattles off the particulars of his come-up on the anecdote-laden “Detroit Public
Schools” and “How,” later reinforcing the vitality of his ongoing presence in the game
on the soul-stirring “Grizz They Need You.” And while They Forgot limits the feature
selection to a downright austere handful of tracks, his inclusion of Skilla Baby intensifies
the impact of the Ashanti-blessed “Rain.”
Our Favorite Track: Emphasizing Grizzley’s enviable track record as a collaborator,
“Hard Times” invites Floridian phenom Hurricane Wisdom to contribute his own ragsto-riches narrative.
