The Swedish instrumental duo Sagor & Swing has released a concept LP, “Rymdsonden” (“The Space Probe”), on Subliminal Sounds. The music blends space jazz with psychedelia, progressive rock, folk, and electronic music: extended instrumental landscapes combine melody with experimentation, atmospheric passages give way to driving grooves, and delicate folkloric motifs surface in between.
