The Nashville trio verygently (Drew Erwin, Joey Hendricks and Tristan Bushman) will release their debut album SORRY, SARAH on October 9, 2026. The three had long worked in Nashville as independent singer-songwriters before their collaboration became a band in 2024. They built their reputation touring with Augustana, The Fray, The Band Camino and Ruston Kelly, and through energetic live shows driven by the members' friendship. They recently finished support runs for Ruston Kelly and Kameron Marlowe, and from May 29 they will tour with Trousdale, starting in Atlanta. Gibson Guitars named them its May Artist Spotlight.
The album has 11 tracks built on three-part harmonies, emotional directness and wry humor. Its central themes are anxiety, heartbreak and self-sabotage in the late twenties, turned into a communal, cathartic and still fun experience. The new single "CHANGIN' MY WAYS" is a sing-along confession about slipping back into old habits: you know your lifestyle is unsustainable and keep promising yourself you'll change, yet fall back into the same patterns. The band calls it an anthem for your late twenties. Earlier singles were "STRONGER THAN THAT" and "HOW IT'S ALWAYS BEEN" (featuring Ruston Kelly).
For the band, this is their most fully realized work. Their two earlier EPs were more eclectic in conception, while SORRY, SARAH was written collaboratively, aiming to capture the sound of their live shows.

1. verygently - I DON'T WANNA DIE
2. verygently - ANYTHING BUT ME
3. verygently - NOTHING COMES LOOKING
