Andrew Douglas Rothbard - Sundowner Intermodal (2026)

Sundowner Intermodal (2026) is a cinematic and hypnotic solo album by Andrew Douglas Rothbard, furthering his explorations at the intersection of analog space rock, avant-garde folk, and twilight industrial psychedelia. Conceptually, the record explores the transit spaces of modernity: cargo terminals, deserted highways, abandoned logistics hubs, and the liminal state of "sundowning." Using a rich arsenal of vintage analog synthesizers, tape delays, and dissected acoustic instruments, Rothbard creates a hypnagogic soundscape where American psychedelic folk dissolves into kraut-like motorik rhythms.
