Gabriel Iwasaki - The Journey Continues (2018)

The Journey Continues (2018) is an ambitious symphonic prog masterpiece by Peruvian-Japanese composer and pianist Gabriel Iwasaki. Drawing on his academic compositional training and a passion for the seminal soundtracks of Japanese JRPGs and Hollywood cinema, Iwasaki created a conceptual epic at the intersection of classic 1970s symphonic rock, contemporary neo-prog, and sweeping orchestrations. The album is conceived as a musical narrative of a grand journey, where rock instrumentation serves as the driver for polyphonic orchestral scores and epic melodic lines.
