Welsh musician Dicky Continental has released "Queer the Pitch," an album recorded together with young participants of his youth music project Future Blood in Swansea. The record is conceived as an act of collaborative creation: the artist does not hide the rough edges that inevitably come when people are just learning and developing, but makes them part of the sound. The result is an experimental record in which both Continental's own musical roots and the new sounds that currently inspire him can be heard. The album showcases both the artist's personal growth and the vivid talent of the young performers.
The release came out on Ramrock Records as a super-limited vinyl LP. It combines the experience of a seasoned musician with the fresh perspective of youth; the record conveys the energy of collective work and creative evolution and is aimed above all at collectors who appreciate innovative music that grew out of a local community.
