Heratius - Gwendolyne / Les Boniments (2021)

Gwendolyne / Les Boniments (2021) is a rare fragment of the French avant-garde underground of the 1970s, restored and properly reissued for the first time for collectors of exotic prog rock. The French band Heratius, largely overshadowed by the RIO (Rock in Opposition) movement and the Zeuhl scene, recorded these tracks in the late 1970s, but the material remained unavailable to the public for a long time. This 2021 release is an archival dive into the eccentric, theatrical, absurdist world of the French art avant-garde, combining rock instrumentation with poetic grotesquery.
