The iconic 1974 album “Penso sorrido e canto” by the Italian pop vocal quartet Ricchi e Poveri receives its first official vinyl reissue since its original release on Fonit Cetra. Representing the group's first golden era, the record highlights their complex vocal harmonies and songwriting contributions from Italian pop figures such as Amedeo Minghi and Cristiano Minellono.
The tracklist is anchored by its title track, which achieved second place at the Un disco per l'estate 1974 festival, alongside Italian pop-folk and melodic pop standards including “C'è una donna sola”, “Dolce è la mano”, and an Italian adaptation of David Gates' “Clouds” (titled “Volo”). The anniversary collector's edition faithfully reproduces the original 1974 gatefold artwork pressed on transparent blue vinyl.
Tracklist:
1. Ricchi & Poveri - Penso sorrido e canto
2. Ricchi & Poveri - C'è una donna sola
