Sly Fox And The Hustlers - memento mori (2026)

Memento Mori (2026) is the darkest, most uncompromising, and rawest work yet from the New York trio led by frontman and guitarist Sly Fox. Invoking the Latin phrase "remember death," the album explores themes of mortality, destructive passions, redemption, and survival on the margins of the American dream. Recorded with an emphasis on natural, lively dynamics, the album eschews sterile modern production in favor of overdriven analog amps, fuzzed basslines, and a primal, viscous delta-blues drive, filtered through the prism of modern garage rock.
