British archival label Seelie Court has reissued Esse Quam Videri (1970) by Lifeblud, one of the rarest ultra-collectible British acetates. Originally existing in only three acetate copies, this official reissue was sourced from the sole surviving near-mint disc provided by a former band member.
The album features serene, poetic progressive rock steeped in folk influences, highlighted by mystical lyricism and innovative acoustic drone techniques created via a damaged guitar bridge. Mastered and restored at Reynolds Mastering using vintage ex-BBC equipment, the release is strictly limited to 500 eco-friendly vinyl copies housed in a silver-ink gatefold sleeve with archive materials.
Tracklist:
1. lifeblud - Of Hatred's Hand
2. lifeblud - The Journey Home
3. lifeblud - Tenement
4. lifeblud - Eclipse
5. lifeblud - Oakenshade
6. lifeblud - So Be It
7. lifeblud - Rescue
8. lifeblud - Raven's Wing
9. lifeblud - Bridge
10. lifeblud - Waxing of the Moon
