ormed by teenagers Adrian Lewis and Roger Latham at Wrekin College in the late 1960s, the British folk duo Benjamin Delaney Lion recorded their ultra-rare private press album Satori in July 1969. Heavily influenced by the Incredible String Band, the duo blended gentle psychedelic folk, intricate acoustic arrangements, and mystical lyricism.
Issued in a tiny run accompanied by a self-published 48-page book of poetry and illustrations, the album remained an obscure collector's holy grail until the inclusion of «Samantha Carol Fragments» on the compilation Dust on the Nettles brought their fragile, visionary songwriting to a wider audience.
Tracklist:
1. Benjamin Delaney Lion - I Alone
2. Benjamin Delaney Lion - Samantha Carol: Fragments
3. Benjamin Delaney Lion - Midnight People
4. Benjamin Delaney Lion - Old Man
5. Benjamin Delaney Lion - There Is Nothing Lost
