Tokyo-based psychedelic trio Tō Yō presents their sophomore full-length album, Yardang. Inspired by wind-carved desert rock formations, the album's sonic concept bridges the gap between raw heavy rock freakouts and the hypnotic, repetitive pulse of Tokyo’s underground club scene.
Developed over two years of live improvisations and refined on European festival stages, the material showcases sprawling compositions rooted in heavy-psych and trance-like structures. Throughout the record, Tō Yō effortlessly merge geometric precision in their arrangements with organic human warmth and raw instrumental energy.
Tracklist:
1-1 Tō Yō - Kosa [11:10]
1-2 Tō Yō - Agi [1:28]
1-3 Tō Yō - Marconi Transmitter [13:48]
