Faust - Fliegen lernen (curated by Gunther Wüsthoff) (2026) [Hi-Res]

BAND/ARTIST: Faust

Faust co-founder Gunther Wüsthoff released his inventive project Fliegen Lernen, produced in collaboration with Onnen Bock and Gunther Buskies for the Bureau B label. The album draws on a rich tapestry of archive recordings, new studio sessions, spoken word, electroacoustic experiments, and found sounds. Musically, the release shifts fluidly between wiry punk-funk, hypnotic kosmische grooves, and atmospheric soundscapes. Building on creative concepts originated during Wüsthoff's foundational era with Faust, the record avoids nostalgic retrospective, instead embracing chance, playful improvisation, and the philosophy that virtually any sonic source can be reshaped into music.
