Iron Jinn - Zeitgeist On The Run (2026)

Zeitgeist On The Run (2026) is the monumental second album by Dutch band Iron Jinn, which expanded from a studio trio to a full-fledged touring quintet following their 2023 debut (founding members Wout Kemkens and Ouds Beydaels have been joined by permanent keyboardist and vocalist Es, bassist Gerben Bilderman, and drummer Bob Hoogenelst). Recorded in a former dance studio with producer Peter Kloos (known for his work with Motorpsycho, Dool, and The Devil's Blood), the album abandons the heavy, visceral doom rock of the debut for a far more dynamic, hypnotic, and multilayered sound. Ironically dubbing their new style "Reich & Roll" (after minimalist composer Steve Reich), the band explores themes of digital absorption, the cult of data, and modern man's escape into the illusions of techno-messianism.
