Scottish post-punk and art punk act The Yummy Fur has returned with Everybody Talks About The Weather, their first album of new material in over twenty-five years. Recorded by original line-up members John McKeown, Brian MacDougall, and Paul Thomson, the ten-track release distills the band's signature sound into a concise and unpredictable set driven by taut guitar arrangements, driving motorik rhythms, and underlying tension.
Lyrically and conceptually, the record bridges scenes of daily life in Glasgow with references to literature, cinema, and cultural figures like Barbara Loden, Pablo Picasso, the Mitford sisters, and Susan Sontag. Concluding with the contrast between the bleak final track "King of Nothing" and the subtle optimism of "Say Hello", the album highlights the band's enduring inventive songwriting and distinct artistic identity.

1. The Yummy Fur - Cogs
2. The Yummy Fur - Unity Over Europe
