From Town to Town (2008) is a landmark studio effort on the Scandinavian blues scene from the Swedish band Eric's Bluesband, led by guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Eric Hansson. The album showcases a seamless synthesis of classic Chicago blues, rhythm and blues, and blues-rock with rich horn arrangements. Recorded in Swedish studios with invited guests (including Scandinavian blues legend Matz Ronander on harmonica and a renowned horn section), the album conveys the atmosphere of a tight, nonstop concert tour—from city to city.
