Galaverna - Wagdans (2022)

Wagdans (2022) is the second full-length album by the international collective Galaverna, featuring musicians from Italy, Germany, and the UK. The album's title refers to the Old English and Old Germanic folklore concepts of "dance of the waves" or "movement of the winds." Unlike heavier or purely electric, representative releases of modern prog rock, Galaverna creates an incredibly organic, bright, and pastoral acoustic space. The album features guest appearances by masters of the European scene, including flutist Chiara Miazzi and multi-instrumentalists who enrich the sound with rare traditional instruments.
