Terrible Blues (The Lost Album from 1996) is an archived, previously unreleased full-length record by French electronic producer Jean-Yves Prieur, recording as Kid Loco. Tracked in 1996, the material captures the formative phase of his musical production immediately prior to the release of his breakthrough debut A Grand Love Story (1997).
The album documents a key transitional moment in Kid Loco's aesthetic evolution, bridging his background in indie rock with sampled downtempo, trip-hop, lo-fi blues, and ambient lounge. Constructed around unhurried hip-hop drum patterns, warm guitar loops, vintage organ figures, and cinematic sampling, the release fills a historical gap in the mid-1990s French electronic music movement.
Tracklist:
1. Kid loco - A Terrible Intro
2. Kid loco - A Moonlight Groover
3. Kid loco - Bob's Jam
