Empress Of - Dream House (2026)

Empress Of - Dream House (2026)

BAND/ARTIST: Empress Of

Dream House is the upcoming fifth studio album by Honduran-American artist Empress Of, scheduled for release on September 18, 2026, through Major Arcana and Giant Music. The project emerged following the destruction of Rodriguez's childhood home during the 2025 Altadena wildfires. She composed the title track while seeking solace in Norway immediately after the disaster. The creative process ran parallel to the physical reconstruction of her family home in Los Angeles. Rodriguez worked alongside her mother, Reina Dubon, who recorded spoken-word parts for the album. Audio recordings captured directly at the active construction site were integrated into the record's soundscape. Collaborators on the project include Cecile Believe, Blood Orange, and producers such as Stella Mozgawa and Dave Sitek. The album's release was preceded by four singles, including the title track.
