Welcome To The Oast House (2012) is a distinctive and atmospheric album by the British band Dukes Of Kent. The album's title directly references the traditional rural architecture of Kent (oast houses), which perfectly captures the album's concept: an immersion in the pastoral, slightly eccentric aesthetic of the British countryside. The album masterfully blends an acoustic folk-rock foundation with psychedelic arrangements, creating a warm, intimate, and simultaneously cinematic sound.
