Outstanding Guesswork - One Whole Peace (2026)

Outstanding Guesswork - One Whole Peace (2026)
The improvisational trio Outstanding Guesswork, featuring veteran musician Wil Greenstreet (alto saxophone, EWI), his son Morgan Greenstreet (drums, electronics), and bassist Max Judelson, embodies over two decades of shared musical exploration. Captured live on February 17, 2024, at the Light and Sound Design loft in Brooklyn utilizing a specialized four-point sound system, the performance was recorded by Morgan Greenstreet and Vincent Brunetto, mixed by Mark Yoshizumi, and released under the title "One Whole Peace". Anchored in free jazz, avant-garde jazz, and free improvisation, this live recording serves as a socio-political statement of awareness supporting global movements for peace and liberation across Palestine, Haiti, Sudan, Congo, and worldwide.

The collective's artistic identity is deeply rooted in the extensive musical evolution of 82-year-old Wil Greenstreet. His career encompasses performing psychedelic rock guitar in 1970s Australia, studying under bebop icon Frank Morgan in 1980s Los Angeles, exploring free improvisation in Austin, Texas, and playing solo jazz standards atop the Empire State Building. Currently residing in the Hudson Valley, Greenstreet's ongoing investigation of advanced harmonic theories injects deep structural complexity and intergenerational synergy into the soundscapes of Outstanding Guesswork.
