Live In Buchholz 1978 is an archival live release released by the prestigious Polish label GAD Records in 2014. The recording captures the legendary trio's performance (Józef Skrzek, Apostolis Antzimos, and Jerzy Piotrowski) in Buchholz, Germany, in October 1978—the peak, most expressive period of their Western European touring. The album is a unique document demonstrating how SBB effortlessly transcended the boundaries between Eastern European symphonic prog, virtuosic jazz-rock, and the improvisational German krautrock school.
