Fufluns – Refusés (2021)

Refusés (2021) is a refined studio album by the Italian project Fufluns, led by keyboardist and composer Alfio Costa, known for his work with Tunnels and Plox and considered a key figure in the contemporary Italian art rock scene. The album's title ("Refused") alludes to the renowned concept of the Salon des Refusés (Salon of the Rejected), emphasizing the uncompromising and independent nature of the musical material presented. The record is a deeply conceptual, theatrical work in which the classic traditions of 1970s Italian prog rock are intertwined with avant-garde aesthetics, folk motifs, and complex poetics.
