Cool Touch is the tenth studio album by British-Australian pop singer Leo Sayer, released on July 9, 1990. Following a hiatus of several years, this album marked his return to the music scene and was released in markets such as the UK, Germany, and Australia on the EMI and Electrola labels.
The album was produced entirely by Alan Tarney, who also co-wrote all 10 songs with Leo Sayer. At the time, Tarney was already known for his successful production work with artists such as Cliff Richard and a-ha. Stylistically, the album falls within the genres of pop, dance-pop, and pop-rock typical of the early 1990s. It was recorded at RG Jones Studios and Mayfair Studios in London.
