Thandii feat. Regalado - Coco Okayo (2026) [Hi-Res]

BAND/ARTIST: Thandii, Regalado

British alt-soul and art-pop duo Thandii, featuring Graham Godfrey and Jess Berry, joined forces with legendary Filipino drummer Jun Regalado to record the album Coco Okayo, released through Sama Sama Records. The project originated as an exploration of Godfrey's Filipino heritage and diaspora experience. Recorded in Manila, the album features Regalado, who is experiencing a international career resurgence following the reissue of his track "Pinoy Funk" on the 2024 compilation "Ayo Ke Disco". The sonic landscape of the record bridges 1970s Manila sound traditions, British soul, post-punk-disco, and coastal art-pop from Margate. Beside the primary duo, the release features keyboardist Steve Pringle (Pigeon) along with US-based musicians of Filipino descent Wyn Avillas and Ian Santillano.
