Shadowman, John J Presley - Shadowman (2026) [Hi-Res]

BAND/ARTIST: Shadowman, John J Presley

British trio project Shadowman, formed by musician John J Presley, producer Ben Hillier, and broadcaster Danielle Perry, has released their self-titled debut album. The songwriting phase originated when John J Presley acquired a vintage 1970s acoustic Guild guitar, redirecting his creative focus toward arrangement structure rather than raw tone sculpting. Recording sessions took place at Agricultural Audio in Lewes with sound engineer Dan Crook, featuring brass and saxophone textures contributed by instrumentalists Pete Wareham and Marcus Hamblett. The album blends post-rock, indie rock, alternative rock, cinematic orchestration, motorik rhythm patterns, and New Orleans jazz brass influences into a sonic narrative exploring modern life and wedding singers.
