Lisker - Lisker (Reissue) (1979)

Lisker (1979) is the only and extremely valuable rare album by the Basque band of the same name, released on the independent label Xoxoa at the end of the golden era of Iberian progressive rock. Recorded during the brief flowering of the Basque cultural revival of the late 1970s, the album is a powerful, expressive synthesis of traditional Basque folklore with heavy, dynamic symphonic rock. The album became an important milestone in the Basque rock movement (Euskal Rock), alongside works by Errobi, Itoiz, and Haizea.
