Galen Ayers - Monument (2026) [Hi-Res]

British-American singer-songwriter Galen Ayers steps out from the wings to tell her own story on her deeply personal debut album, Monument. Written on the Greek island of Hydra in the two years following the death of her father, Soft Machine co-founder Kevin Ayers, the record is a poignant exploration of grief, growth, and self-definition as she navigated the profound loss of her caregiver and confidant. The ten tracks refuse to be confined to a single genre, weaving together moody pop, dreamy folk, trippy rock, and nods to 50s girl-group doo-wop, all anchored by her brilliant, honeyed soprano.
